It’s not until you are forced to stop that you realise that you really need time out to just be. I know that life requires a balance of doing and being. If I am too much in the ‘doing’ then I get burnt out and my body says nope that’s enough and I will feel really tired and lethargic or I will get sick. If I am too much in the ‘being’ then I tend to get stuck and complacent and triggered because I don’t like being stuck in procrastination.
I love that when you get to just be and you’re in stillness that it allows your nervous system to really slow and calm down. It’s nice to have that beautiful energy flow that’s not in fight or flight. We can often head into fight or flight when we haven’t processed our emotions. We either want to fight our emotions and suppress them or run away from them and not process or feel them. Yet in the ‘being’ it’s an opportunity for reflection, awareness, growth, processing, releasing, inspiration, creativity.
That’s one thing that I noticed in my couple of weeks off not being able to go anywhere or do anything I was able to process some emotions. I got to release them. Soon after that I had a flow of inspiration and creativity. The other thing that I noticed was the energy flowed better. I know being a generator in human design I felt that I was able to generate opportunities and things came towards me that I didn’t have to initiate. What a gift it was in learning about myself, knowing that if I am in my joy + pleasure that this is what creates that energy flow and I am able to generate. Not having to do anything but be in a space of doing what I love.
I know that when you are in your joy, pleasure and gratitude that this is the perfect state for manifesting things that you would love in your life. Even feeling into the state of already having what you would like to manifest will bring it closer to you.
I think that so often that we get stuck or are so used to the low vibration of energy, that it is our normal. When in fact our normal is to be happy, healthy, having fun, being in joy, pleasure and gratitude. So if we aren’t in that then there is something in your life that is stopping that beautiful flow of high vibrational energy.
I also realised that I can be sick and not going anywhere in the comfort of my bed with netflix at the ready, I could still be peaceful, content, happy, grateful and in my joy + pleasure if that’s where I chose to put my attention and energy.
It also got me thinking that you can be feeling all the high vibe emotions while going through the hardest time in your life. It’s often that we don’t give ourselves permission to feel good in the moments that are hard because we feel guilty and tell ourselves that we should be feeling low, sad, heavy, ashamed and depressed. Just because you think you should doesn’t really honour how you actually feel.
So healing is in the feeling as they say. Plus there are always ways of raising your vibration by doing the things that light you up to get you out of a funk. You can always head up the emotional scale by choosing you and choosing joy, love, abundance, gratitude and pleasure.
